A MINI Ambassador from Kingsley has succeeded in getting 108 test drives of the iconic car in six weeks.

Matt Forrester, of Kingsley Holt, was chosen as one of only 15 Mini Ambassadors across the country.

Matt, who is studying in his final year for a business management degree at Staffordshire University and working at Alton Towers Resort, was tasked with the challenge of inviting people to test drive his Mini for a chance to win a holiday for up to four people worth £4,000.

The 21-year-old had to get at least 108 people to test drive a Mini in six weeks as part of the promotional campaign.

Following the completion of the project, Matt finished in fourth position against much larger universities such as Leeds and Cambridge, after over achieving the target by getting approximately 125 test drives.

He said: "I really enjoyed being involved in the project and networking with many organisations across the county to secure test drives.

"The campaign had a very positive social media presence and received a strong following for the adventurous element each week.

"Overall the project ran extremely well in Staffordshire and following such positive results Mini are keen to ensure the project can be run again in the future.

"The winner of the holiday is yet to be announced, however for all test drivers who entered you will be contacted shortly if you have won.

"I wanted to say a special thank you to everyone who got involved and helped me exceed my overall target, the response to the campaign was brilliant. A special thank you to Ken Weston of Wetherby Close, Cheadle who called on all of his friends and family to get involved and had a huge contribution to the overall result of the campaign."
