Do we really know about William Shakespeare? This will be the food for thought at the next Talk Night at an arts centre.
Dr Derek Tatton, former principal of Wedgwood Memorial College, now retired from a lifelong career in adult education, continues in his retirement to organise courses throughout the country.
The founder of the Discussion Circle evenings held at the Blue Mugge in Osborne Street in Leek, a strong believer in the value of shared ideas, he will be presenting the next talk at the Foxlowe Arts Centre in Leek next Wednesday (March 19).
Concerned with the paradox of Shakespeare, known throughout the world, yet still a mystery in many spheres of his life, Derek will be engaging with the Sonnets and what they reveal about their author.
Doors will open for the talk at 7.30pm and admission will be free although donations will be welcome.
