Monthly Bric-a- Brac Sale 10am-midday at the Conservative Club, Cheadle. There will be something for everyone - books, pottery, glassware, jewellery, bedding, clothing, etcetera. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available. Admission is free. All the proceeds will be used to help the waifs and strays in the care of Cheadle Animal Welfare Society.

Vintage Fashions Collection 10am-4pm at Nicholson Gallery and Museum, Nicholson Institute, Moorlands House, Stockwell Street, Leek. Exhibition by The Hope House Costume Museum has now amassed a huge collection, including outfits and accessories dating from 1790 up to the 1970s. Running until September 27. Details: 01538 483741.
