Dry stone walling 9.30am-4.30pm. Learn to build a dry stone wall in the Churnet Valley under the expert tuition of an Advanced certified dry stone waller. Training will take place on a field wall near Leek today and tomorrow from 9.30am until 4.30pm. Cost is £20 per day. Family Fun Day 12pm-4pm at St Paul's Church in Novi Lane, Leek. Hosted by Haregate Community Queen's Family Fun Day. To include face painting, a bouncy castle, rodeo bull, soft play and lots of other games and competitions. Food will be available and drinks. Proceeds to Love4Leah. Flower Festival 10am-5.30pm at St Michael and All Angels Church in Earl Sterndale. Running until Monday August 25 with the theme 'Occupations from the Bible'. To include sales tables, tombola, raffle and refreshments. Proceeds to the church repair fund.

TripleFest 7.30pm at Heaton House Farm, Rushton Spencer, near Leek. With The Big Tent Event - an evening of comedy. On Sunday from 4pm-11pm it will be the Welly Fest with a feast of music talent and a selection of real ales and ciders. Plus on Monday there will be the Country Fayre from 11am-5pm. Fund-raising Car Boot Sellers from 7am and buyers from 7.30am until midday at Sainsbury's, Macclesfield Road in Leek. Hosted by fund-raising stalwart Cynthia Lubacz in aid of animal charities.

Monday August 25

LeekFest 11am onwards in Leek town centre. To include a host of fun and activities for all the family including: circus skills workshops, climbing wall, street theatre, soft play area, Totally Locally Market, as well as live music (up until 8pm) from the likes of Dom Morgan, Phil Maddocks, Melv and Bones, Dominic 'Chuck Berry' Cooper, Dirty Little Touch, Dead Bear and Reefy Blunt and the Biftas.

Annual Summer Fete 2pm at Waterfall Village in aid of The Parish Church of Saint James and Saint Bartholomew. To include tin can alley, bric-a-brac, wine spinner, refreshments and songs of praise in the tent at 6.30pm on Sunday. Details: 01538 309922.
