POLICE officers are appealing for witnesses after a dog was injured in a non-stop road traffic collision in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

The incident happened in Newpool Road, Knypersley, at around 4.45pm on Sunday 26 January when a border collie was ran over by an unknown vehicle.

A witness heard the collision and found the injured dog nearby. The vehicle did not stop.

The dog was collected by a local veterinary practise for treatment.

The owners of the dog, who are local, are aware and were due to collect it from the vets last night.

Witnesses to the collision are asked to contact PC Sharon Nelson at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 490 of January 26.

I just got paid *5628 working off my laptop this month. And if you think that's cool, my divorced friend has twin toddlers and made over *8.1k her first month. It feels so good making so much money when other people have to work for so much less. This is what I do, http://tinyurl.com/nu9nszh
