THE North Staffordshire branch of the RSPCA works hard to raise funds to rehome unfortunate animals who have been exposed to cruelty and poor welfare conditions.

It currently uses Blakeley Farm Kennels, a private boarding facility on the outskirts of Cheadle, to house its animals.

On average the branch has around 10 dogs and 12 cats looking for new homes.

Some of them are pictured on this page – could you offer one of them a new home?

A spokesman for the branch said: "Unfortunately we do not have our own kennels but it is a long-term goal of the branch to raise funds to own and run its own rescue centre.

"We do have some fund-raising events coming up, such as a sponsored dog walk in Dimmingsdale on Sunday, May 11."

This is a five-mile walk in the Churnet Valley starting at 10.30am from the Ramblers Retreat, Dimmingsdale Lodge, Red Road, Alton, ST10 4BU

Look for the RSPCA trailer for registration. The Suggested donation is £10 per dog or download a sponsorship form from www.rspcanorthstaffs.co.uk.

If you can provided any of the adorable characters on this page with a forever home please call the kennels on 01782 551515 or visit the website above for more information about rehoming an animal.
