A LINE dancing evening will be staged at a town centre club this weekend.
The next Kingfisher Evening will take pace at The Central Club in Market Street, Leek on Saturday at 7.30pm.
The country and western event will feature music band Next Of Kin and proceeds from the evening will go to local charities.
Formed in 2009, Next of Kin is made up of: Rob Beech on vocals, guitars and mandolin; Michelle Hughes on vocals, guitar and percussion; Chris Jamieson on drums; Phil Basterfield on guitars; and Del Biddulph on vocals and bass.
A new ten track CD by Next of Kin is available which features many of the current set favourites including "American Honey" and "Travellin' Soldier".
The tracks selected for the CD offer a series of fantastic vocal performances by Michelle Hughes along with great acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, dynamic drums, upright and electric bass and smooth three part vocal harmonies.
The individual band member's input to this recording resulted in a very varied array of sounds and feels.
Admission to the Kingfisher Evening featuring Next of Kin will be £5.
