Offences against Gary Paul Swietek, of West Street, Leek, aged 38, who was charged with failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order have been withdrawn.
Charges against Thomas Andrew Goodwin, of Wardle Crescent, Leek, aged 21, of assault and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Leek on July 20, 2013, have been dismissed.
Mark Gregory Wilson, of Draycott Old Road, Forsbrook, aged 45, has been charged with being in possession of a class A drug with intent to supply in Fenton on July 11, 2013. He has been remanded on unconditional bail and sent for trial to Stoke-On-Trent Crown Court on June 2.
Vimalathasan Sinnathurai, of Johnstone Avenue, Werrington, aged 33, has been charged with intentionally touching a woman aged 16 or over sexually when she did not consent in Werrington on August 2, 2013. He pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on conditional bail until April 11 when he will appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
Michael James Hadley, of Meadow Avenue, Wetley Rocks, aged 37, has been charged with assault in Cheddleton on December 31, 2013, and February 7, 2014. He pleaded guilty and has been remanded on conditional bail until March 20 when he will appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
Cameron James King, of Back View, Kingsley, aged 19, has been charged with two counts of assault in Leek on January 9; using a Ford Fiesta in Mulberry Way, Leek, without consent, without insurance and without a licence and, while driving the vehicle, causing damage to a garden wall and fence in Leek on January 9; damaging a front door of a property in Leek on January 9 and being in possession of a lock knife in Leek on January 10. He pleaded not guilty to two charges of assault and has pleaded guilty to all other charges. He has been remanded on conditional bail until May 8 when he will appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme and given an interim driving disqualification until dealt with.
Lee Thomas Ferns, of St Edward Street, Leek, aged 41, has been charged with being in possession of a class B drug in Leek on August 12, 2013, and dishonestly assisting in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of stolen goods in Leek on August 12, 2013. He pleaded guilty to both charges and has been given a community order to carry out 60 hours supervised unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £115.
