The latest cases to appear before North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme

Cameron James King, of 1 Back view, Kingsley, aged 20, has been charged with theft in Hanley on June 11 and failing without reasonable excuse to surrender to custody at North Staffordshire Magistrates’ Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme on July 2. He pleaded guilty to both charges. He has also been charged with breaking the terms of a retraining order on July 5 in Stoke-on-Trent. He pleaded not guilty but was found guilty. He has been remanded on conditional bail until August 21 to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates’ Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Marcus James Bendall, of The old Stables, Thornclife, aged 22, has been charged with driving while over the legal alcohol limit in Leek on May 2. He pleaded guilty and has been fined £185, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of 385 and has been disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 18 months.

Iona Dawn Roberston, of Flat 6, Lightoaks, Cheadle Road, Oakamoor, aged 43, has been charged with assault in Cheadle on May 2. She pleaded not guilty and the case has been adjourned until September 5 to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates’ Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Grant William Brookes, of 7 Withystakes Road, Werrington, aged 29, has been charged with unlawful damage and sending a threatening text message in Stoke-on-Trent on July 19 wile subject to a conditional discharge. He pleaded guilty and admitted the breach and has been remanded on conditional bail until September 4 to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates’ Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Mariusz Tarasiuk, of 56B Chorley Street, Leek, aged 36, has been charged with two counts of assault and one charge of threatening another person in Leek on May 17. He has also been charged with failing without reasonable excuse to surrender to custody at North Staffordshire Magistrates’ Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme on August 6. A warrant has been issued for his arrest without bail.

Corrie Joseph Reynolds, of 1 Haste Hill Avenue, Kingsley, aged 25, has been charged with theft in Stoke-on-Trent on June 26. He pleaded guilty and has been fined £35, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and compensation of £1.99 and costs of £85.

The case against him regarding charges of trespassing in Newcaslte-Under-Lyme on July 15 has been discontinued.

Philip Andrew Beff, of 15 Rosebank Street, leek, aged 43, has been charged with theft in Leek on July 2. He pleaded guilty and has been fined £70 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and compensation of £300 and costs of £80.

Mary Elizabeth Boston, of 62 Churnet Valley Road, Kingsley Holt, aged 73, has been charged with speeding in Anglesey on January 26. She has been fined £40 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £35 and her driving licence has been endorsed with three points.

Robert Lee Hudson, of 14 Mill House Drive, Cheadle, aged 35, has been charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards another person in Oakamoor on June 5. He pleaded guilty and has been fined £110, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.

Shaun Robert Cope, of 10 Tythe Barn, Alton, aged 26, has been charged with assault between May 28 and June 1 in Stoke-on-Trent and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour between May 28 and May 31 in Abbey Hulton. He pleaded not guilty to both charges and has been remanded on conditional bail until September 5 to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates’ Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Carly Louise Edwards, of Flat 3, 10 Broad Street, Leek, aged 18, has been charged with theft in Leek on June 27. She pleaded guilty and has been discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85.

Robert Stanley Bayne, of 4 holly Avenue, Cheddleton, aged 34, has been charged with using a motor vehicle without insurance in Stoke-on-Trent on March 23. He pleaded guilty and his case has been adjourned until September 17 to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates’ Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Thomas Robert William Rhead, of 58 Westminster Road, Leek, aged 28, has been charged with assault in Leek on June 15. He pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on unconditional bail until September 19 to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates’ Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

David Brian Lovatt, of 8 Harbourne road, Cheadle, aged 35, has been charged with breaking the terms of a restraining order in Tean on June 10. He pleaded guilty and has been given a community order for 12 months, fined £85 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60.

Nathan Daniel Sargeant, of 6 Cross Edge, Brown Edge, aged 23, has been charged with using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour towards another person which was racially aggravated on April 5 in Stoke-on-Trent. He pleaded guilty and has been fined £70 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.

Michael Tyson, 20 Greenfield Avenue, Brown Edge, aged 24, has been charged with driving over the legal alcohol limit in Stoke-on-Trent on July 7. He pleaded guilty and has been fined £280, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £28 and costs of £85 and has been disqualified from driving for 13 months.

Mark Anthony Plimmer, of 1 Woodlands Lane, Blythe Bridge, aged 18, has been charged with speeding in Stoke-on-Trent on January 7. The case has been adjourned until August 28 to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates’ Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Jonathon Heath, of 1 Meadow Close, Forsbrook, aged 42, has been charged with assault in Cheadle on April 27. He pleaded guilty and has been given a community order for 12 months and fined £40 and ordred to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £250.

Ashley George Simpson, of 28 Morley Street, Leek, aged 19, has been charged with assault in Leek on June 18. He pleaded not guilty and the case has been adjourned until September 3 to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates’ Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Amy Mycock, of 59 Cheadle Road, Tean, aged 23, has been charged with theft in Cheadle on May 8. She pleaded guilty and has been discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85.
