The latest court cases to appear before North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Stephan John Ball, of Haregate Road, Leek, aged 26, has been charged with stealing four legs of lamb in Leek on January 2. He has pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on conditional bail and sent for trial to Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on June 6. He has also been charged with stealing four jars of coffee in Leek on February 26. He has been remanded on conditional bail until March 25 when he will appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Sean Victor Waterhouse, of Ball Haye Road, Leek, aged 27, has been charged with damaging a car in Leek on January 28. He pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on unconditional bail until May 8 when he will appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Grant William Brookes, of Withystakes Road, Werrington, aged 29, has been charged with damaging a car windscreen in Cheadle on November 17, 2013. He pleaded guilty and has been discharged conditionally for six months and ordered to pay compensation of £225, a victim surcharge of £15 and court costs of £85.

Lee Alan Keates, of Ashbourne Road, Cheadle, aged 31, has been charged with assault in Cheadle on November 17, 2013. He has been remanded on unconditional bail and sent for trail to Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on May 30.

Daniel Scragg, of Springfield Road, Leek, aged 28, has been charged with sending a grossly offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing message in Leek on October 29, 2013. He pleaded guilty and has been discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and court costs of £85. Further charges against Mr Scragg of assault and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour have been discontinued.

Emily Jade Timms, of Haig Road, Leek, aged 18, has been charged with assault on February 17 in Stoke-on-Trent. She pleaded guilty and has been discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and court costs of £85.

Scott James Matthias, of Westwood Road, Leek, aged 23, has been charged with damaging the front door of a property in Leek on February 16. He pleaded guilty and has been given a restraining order, fined £250 and ordered to pay compensation £185, a victim surcharge of £25 and court costs of £85.

Daniel John Titterton, of Thorncliffe View, Leek, aged 28, has been charged with assault in Leek on February 7. He pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on conditional bail until May 7 when he will appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Cameron Mark Fernyhough, of West Street, Leek, aged 22, has been charged with assault in Leek on December 11, 2013. He pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on conditional bail until March 27 when he will appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Norman Glynn Thompson, of Clerk Bank, leek, aged 68, has been charged with using insulting words in Clerk Bank, Leek, on March 3, which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order. He pleaded guilty and has been remanded on conditional bail until March 25 when he will appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

Ashley Mark Woodcock, of Newmarket Way, Cheadle, aged 19, has been charged with assault in Cheadle on February 6. He pleaded guilty and has been given a community order for 18 months, ordered to carry out supervised unpaid work for 65 hours, pay compensation of £200 and a victim surcharge of £60 and court costs of £85.

The case against Philip Andrew Beff, of Rosebank Street, Leek, aged 42, who was charged with assault in Leek on December 28, 2013, has been discontinued. Josephine Adams, of Furlong Drive, Tean, aged 47, has been charged with driving dangerously in Draycott Road, Upper Tean, on November 4, 2013. She pleaded guilty and has been fined £185, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85 and has been disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.

Jessica Wiggin, of Hillside Drive, Leek, aged 33, has been charged with driving while over the legal drink drive limit in Leek on February 15. She pleaded guilty and has been remanded on unconditional bail until May 12 when she will appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court.

Arthur Tafira Baker, of Lomond Grove, Cheadle, aged 34, has been charged with failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. A warrant has been issued for his arrest without bail.

Steven Goldstraw, of Stanley Street, Leek, aged 39, has been charged with assault in Leek on November 19, 2013. He pleaded not guilty and has been remanded on conditional bail until March 27 when he will appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

John Calverley, of Belmont Road, Ipstones, aged 58, has been charged with driving a vehicle on the A515 between Yoxall and Draycott-in-the-Clay on March 14 at a speed exceeding 50 miles per hour contrary to the local traffic order. He pleaded not guilty and his case has been adjourned until May 1 when he will appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
