THREE people were injured last night when a car overturned in a Staffordshire Moorlands village.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the single vehicle road traffic collision in Windycote Lane in Dilhorne, shortly after 11.15pm yesterday (Thursday, June 12) evening.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance said this morning (Friday, June 13): “Three people have been taken to hospital after the car they were travelling in overturned.
“Two ambulances and a paramedic area support officer were dispatched to the scene.
“Crews arrived to find a single car that had overturned.
“Five occupants from the vehicle were all out of the car on the crew’s arrival.
“The front seat passenger, a man, was treated for facial and arm injuries. A woman, who had been travelling in the back of the car at the time of the incident, was treated for neck pain, while a third passenger, a man, was treated for an arm injury.
“All three patients, believed to be in their late teens – early twenties, were conveyed to University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
“No one else was injured in the incident.”
