VISITORS to a heritage railway had a 'spooktacular' treat at the weekend.
Churnet Valley Railway presented their annual Ghost Train Evening on Saturday which included a train ride along the dark and mysterious 'Valley of the Dead'.
The Ghost train operated from 6pm from both Kingsley & Froghall Station and Cheddleton Station and took its passengers through the infamous Leekbrook Tunnel, entering Dracula's Lair at Froghall.
Visitors were also able to boogie to live music at Cheddleton provided by the Leeky Monster band.
There was also children's make and take activities, a barbecue, Chilli Crypt, outside bars, the Bride’s of Dracula’s Cocktail Bar, mini funfair rides and much more.
Bookings are now being taken for the ever popular Santa & Steam event at Churnet Valley Railway which runs throughout December, plus the Festive Dining Evenings on Saturday’s December 14 and 21, and the Festive Supper Trains on Wednesday's December 4 and 11.
