A QUAD bike valued at £2,500 has been stolen from a property in Butterton.

The red Honda 450 quad bike was stolen between Thursday, January 23, and Saturday, January 25.

A SAMSUNG mobile phone and laptop have been stolen following a raid on a Werrington property.

Thieves entered a house in Chatsworth Drive, between 10.30am and 11.10am on Friday, January 24.

A PORTABLE cooker has been stolen from a house which was being renovated.

The incident was reported to police on Sunday January 26.

Thieves remove a window in the property situated in Armshead Road, Werrington, to gain access.

POLICE are again urging drivers to make secure their vehicles are locked and secure when they are left.

The warning comes after six cars were broken into in the Biddulph area.

Thieves searched through glove boxes and stole several different items, including tools and radios.

A police spokesman said: "We urge drivers not to leave valuable or any item in their vehicles. When parking their vehicles make sure they are locked and also double check the door handles to make sure they have been secured."

A black Honda motorcycle was also stolen from Shepherd Street in Biddulph on Monday, January 27.
