Tributes have been paid to a popular football administrator from the Moorlands.
The funeral of Neil Chaddock, who had been associated with the Leek & District Sunday League for more than 30 years, took place at St Margaret's church in Draycott last week.
Mr Chaddock, from Blythe Bridge, recently lost his long battle with cancer.
The 68-year-old spent many years as assistant league secretary, compiling weekly reports for local newspapers, before stepping down from the post last year.
League president Roy Brindley, who was league chairman from 1990-2010, got to know Mr Chaddock well.
He said: "He was a very nice man who was also very well-respected, and he was a fighter through his illness – he was amazing.
"I've known him since he was secretary of a club in Draycott and I was a referee. He will be missed by everyone."
