MOORLANDS residents are being invited to share their thoughts on crime prevention and feeling safe in Staffordshire.
The county council, Staffordshire Police and the Police and Crime Commissioner, alongside other organisations, have launched joint ‘Do you feel safe?’ campaign.
Councillor Gill Burton, cabinet member for communities at Staffordshire Moorlands District Council, said: “We know that all types of crime are decreasing in Staffordshire and that there is less chance of being a victim of crime here than ever before.
“Being safer is one thing but it’s really important that people feel safe as well. This listening exercise will help us to understand the things that might affect how people feel so we can seek to address them. Your voice is critical to making sure we’re tackling what matters to you and I’d encourage Moorlands residents to get involved by completing the survey on our website.” The survey has five questions and residents have until Friday, November 15, to visit www.staffsmoorlands and complete it online.
