MONDAY saw the Congleton League side end the season on a winning note away to Wolstanton Private, 158-121 victory.
Ray Smith (21-5) collected the sweepstake and David Scragg (21-17) clinched the team average cup.
The Thursday team, under the guidance of captain Allan Graham, went down 183-146 away to Etruria.
Nigel Heath(21-6) was the best Leek winner.
The Bees travelled to Anchor Road and returned with a creditable 160 points, with four winners on a tricky green.
Pauline Heath (21-16) edged out Brenda Trafford (21-17) to collect the kitty.
Leek Park A won 170-151 at home to Little Stoke Cricket Club with captain June Flavell [(21-50 taking the sweep.
The second kitty was shared between Ray Smith and Dave Scragg, who each won 21-9.

Leek Park Ladies
THE TWO Leek Park Ladies teams are celebrating a very successful season.
Both teams have worked very hard throughout bringing on new players.
The first team, after only one season in Division Two of the Staffordshire County Ladies League, have finished in second place, potentially gaining promotion to the first division.
A spokesman for the club said: “Team captain June Flavell should be congratulated on this achievement, and Patsy Allen congratulated on for her selections for the county team.
“Margaret Perkin and Elsie Alcock have done eceptionally well to finish fourth and 10th respectiively, the division averages.” In their final match of the season, the A team lost 123-104 away to Wolstanton Private.

The second team finished fifth in Division Four, having successfully incorporated four new players into their squad. Rita Rowley has taken 11th place in the divisional averages.
THE FINAL league match for the Leek A team in the top division of the Congleton League was an indication of the season’s fortunes overall, with another defeat.
Three low scores swung the game Wolstanton Private’s way and though it may depend upon how the league is configured for next season, it is likely that Leek will be relegated.
Alan Gayes concluded another good season with another convincing win.
The B team were at Fegg Hayes, a club about which there is much speculation as to its future, and the result was a rare tie, 143-143.
