Aspiring artists are being invited to trade tips with a prestigious Staffordshire society which is staging an exhibition in the Staffordshire Moorlands this month.
The Nicholson Museum and Art Gallery in Stockwell Street, Leek is playing host to the spring exhibition by the Society of Staffordshire Artists and members of the Society will be on hand to answer questions or talk about the artwork during the exhibition.
The Society's display within the Nicholson Institute opened on Saturday, March 8 and will run until Saturday, April 5.
The Nicholson Gallery is open from 10am to 4pm and all are welcome to visit the exhibition.
Councillor Gill Burton, cabinet member with responsibility for arts and culture at Staffordshire Moorlands District Council, said: "The Nicholson Gallery is a fantastic venue for exhibitions like this and we are delighted to welcome the Society of Staffordshire Artists. There is a wide variety of artwork on show demonstrating the varied talent that we are fortunate to have in this county and that, together with the chance to be able to chat to members of the Society about the exhibits. This is an exhibition not to be missed."
