Sporting champions Martin Gould and Dennis Taylor to visit Leek Snooker Club

THE last snooker exhibition at a club in Leek is set to be the best ever held in the market town.

Leek Snooker Club, in conjunction with Billy Plant Promotions, will be welcoming sporting world stars Martin Gould, Dennis Taylor and Michaela Tabb for the exhibition evening on Friday, January 31.

Entitled 'The Last One', the event will be the final installment of the exhibition series which has become popular at the Derby Street club.

A spokesman said: "We are sad to announce that this will be the last snooker exhibition at the club for a while however we believe we have saved the best till last.

"We are proud to announce that the 2013 Snooker Champion, 2013 Championship League winner and Power Snooker Champion Martin Gould will be appearing at our club.

"We are also delighted to announce the return of the king, the 1985 world champion and arguably one of the nicest and funniest men you could possibly meet; Mr Dennis Taylor who will act as your compere and host for the evening.

"Keeping the crowd and players in order and providing a touch of glamour to the event will be the ever glamorous Michaela Tabb."

Standard tickets are priced at £22.50 and VIP Tickets (which include Buffet, Meet and Greet, Best Seats and Early Entry) are £40; while Ultimate VIP Tickets cost £80 (which are the same as VIP plus a frame against Martin).
