A WEEKLY drama group will be showcasing their talents with a show this weekend.

Elite (Enabling Living Independently Today and Everyday) Staffordshire currently runs drama sessions on Friday mornings at the Foxlowe Arts Centre in Leek.

The sessions, which cost £5 per person, are aimed at building the confidence and self-esteem of the participants through dance, acting and music.

Participants are encouraged to make their own production and have the chance to perform at a variety of venues, if they wish to. The group will be showcasing what they have learned at the drama sessions so far with a show entitled 'An Audience with Elite's Leek Drama Group' on Friday (January 31).

The show, which will take place at the Foxlowe Arts Centre which is situated at the top of Leek's Market Place, will start at 11am.

Admission on the door will be £1.50 per person and include tea, coffee and biscuits.
