TICKETS are now on sale for an annual small fresh and loud music festival.
This year’s Y Not Festival will be staged at it's regular venue of Pikehall, near Matlock from Friday, August 4, until Sunday, August 4.
If last year’s festival is anything to go by, music fans are in for a real treat.
The well-organised weekend-long event is great for both first-timers or veterans.
The family-friendly festival showcases a host of musical talent for a number of different tastes, and the atmosphere last year was a friendly and safe one.
There was some fascinating decor features dotted around the festival site from a large ‘Y Not’ structure, to a couple of boats, and even some classic cars were in situe in the American style ‘Drive In’ bar.
All ages and all walks of life attend the Y Not Festival, which won Best Small Festival last year at the UK Festival Awards, and all are well catered for from a children/family area, to a real ale tent, and dance tent for the younger adult revellers.
Tickets for the award-winning festival are priced at just £79.50 for the weekend - including camping.
Last year the Y Not team enlisted musical talents such as The Wombats and Federation of the Disco Pimp, to name just two.
This year’s Y Not Festival’s line-up is being released in film noir style, with clips uploaded onto You Tube.
