Wednesday December 26 (Boxing Day)

Live Entertainment at Doors open at 7pm at the Ball Haye Green Sports and Social Club, Leek. With male and female duo Dakota. Plus on Saturday: male and female duo Deep; on Sunday with male vocalist Ashton; and on New Year's Eve with trio The Modest. Free admission.

Rock and Roll Bingo Christmas Special at Eyes down at 8pm at The Dyers Arms, Macclesfield Road, Leek. Plus on Friday at 7.30pm: Christmas Darts Knock-out, on Saturday at 8pm: Christmas Quiz; and Sunday at 3.30pm: Polka Tournament. Details: 01538 382321.

Thursday December 27

Live Music at 9pm at The Quiet Woman, St Edward Street, Leek. Featuring Simon (Superstar) Ainsworth. Plus on Saturday with White Knuckle Ride. Free admission. On Friday at 9pm: Headless with a mix of upfront house, deep and techno with Daz Payton of Groove Federation and resident DJ Nick Sheldon.

Saturday December 29

Pantomime at Doors open at 12noon for 1pm start at the Ball Haye Green Sports and Social Club, Leek. The tenth annual pantomime at the venue with Aladdin. Admission: £4 for adults and £2 for children. Family ticket (two adults and two children £10). Tickets on sale from the club or pay on the door.

Kingfisher Evening at The Central Club, Market Street, Leek. Featuring the rock and pop function band of The All Sorts. The evening will include a raffle in aid of Rudyard Sailability. Tickets available by calling 07941 041224.

Monday December 31

New Year Party at 8pm until 1am at The Foxlowe Arts Centre, Market Place, Leek. Tickets £17.50 (£15 for pledger’s and volunteers) to include party buffet, music and midnight toast. Details: www.foxloweartscentre.org.uk/tickets

New Year’s Eve Fancy Dress and Disco at Doors open at 7.30pm at The Dyers Arms, Macclesfield Road, Leek. Free admission. Plus on New Year's Day at 4.30pm: Rock and Roll Bingo. Details: 01538 382321.

New Year's Eve Party Night at 8pm onwards at The Central Club, Market Street, Leek. Featuring live music by The Ooby Doobys and special guests. Free admission.

New Years Eve Barn Dance at 8pm until late at Brown Edge Village Hall. Featuring the Moody Food Ceili Band with caller Sylvia Fisher. Tickets £12 available by calling 01782 623666 or 01782 536630. A real ale bar but attendees are invited to take their own food.

New Year’s Eve Music Night at 8.30pm until late at Benk's, Stockwell Street, Leek. Featuring Leek Soul Club DJs Stef and Mole spinning the vinyl from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
