Werrington Young Persons Support Group holding Funday at Meigh Road Playing Fields

THE Werrington Young Persons Support Group will be holding their fifth annual Funday on Saturday, July 5, at the Meigh Road Playing Fields and all are welcome to come to this special day for all the family.

There are scheduled to be more than 50 stalls, games, side shows and activities, in addition to a day-long football tournament.

A new feature this year will be continuous live entertainment with a wide range of attractions including a marching band, school choir, ukulele band, dancers and the Sparkling Twirlers Majorettes, who will perform throughout the day, which runs from 11am to 4pm.

Other new additions include classic cars and military Vehicles in a line-up which features Rodeo Bull, a mobile museum, toy library, Punch & Judy, balloon modelling, magic, face-painting, a bungee run, assault course, bouncy castle, BBQ, Hoopla Roll-a Ball, a tuck shop, Ice Cream Trikes, ancers, tombola, primary school choir, a prayer tent, and model-making. All this plus stalls and side shows!
