Twelve teams are needed and each team will have 10 members per team.
The programme of events has been decided and they will take the form of inflatable attractions. There will be a full assault course, which is 45ft long and 15ft wide, along with an 'Aladdin's Event Slide' and usual stalls etc which can still be booked with the town clerk.
An exhibition comprising artefacts, illustrations and many more items appertaining to the First World War will be held at the event.
Cheadle Discovery and Visitor Centre is providing the main body of exhibits, but Cheadle Town Council is appealing to everyone who is interested and feels that they can loan their valuable artefacts to come forward and contact the Cheadle town clerk on 01538 754288. The council would be particularly interested in news and photographs of Cheadle servicemen who served and survived the war.
This will continue the theme of Remembrance as part of the commemoration events marking the 100th anniversary since the beginning of the First World War. Participants of the parade are asked to meet at 12.20pm at the Long Stay Car Park in Well Street.
