Police are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle travelled the wrong way down the A34 in Newcastle.
The incident occurred just after 11.15pm on Friday 19 October.
A dark-coloured Vauxhall Corsa was driven the wrong way – against traffic – on the northbound carriageway of the A34 between the roundabout at Buffet Island and Brymbo Road.
Up to 15 vehicles are believed to have taken evasive action to avoid the Corsa and the area was also quite busy with pedestrians.
Police are eager to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed this incident.

A 21-year-old man from Newcastle was arrested on suspicion of motoring offences and has been bailed, pending further inquiries, to a date next month.
