THE nation’s favourite baking show, The Cake and Bake Show returns to Manchester Central this Friday, April 4, to Sunday, April 6.
This event is following on from a series of sell out shows and celebrity demonstrators include; Great British Bake Off winner Frances Quinn, past winner John Whaite, Eric Lanlard, Rosemary Shrager, Simon Rimmer, Britain’s Best Bakery’s Mich Turner and Peter Sidwell, Paula Young, and Great British Bake Off ‘13 alumni Kimberley, Glenn and Christine.
The UK’s biggest cake installation ‘Welcome to the Jungle’; a walk in jungle with the sights and sounds of the jungle.
Everything will be edible, from the leaves and the grass to over 1,700 handcrafted flowers and animals including a life-size tiger.
It will take a team of 20 over 6,000 hours to create ahead of the show.
A Nielsen-Massey Cupcakes and Cocktails Bar with cupcakes made by Cake Boy aka Eric Lanlard and Cocktails created by VANILLA.
Stands selling the latest baking equipment, ingredients and artisan cakes, breads and pies
Two demo stages; one dedicated to bread, the other to cakes and desserts
Tala Competition Theatre where visitors can watch and take part in live bake-offs
Modelling Magic, brought to you by Renshaw, will offer visitors the chance to get hands on in a full programme of free modelling sessions
Live cake decorating and sugarcraft skills
Classrooms where visitors can learn cake decorating skills from the experts
