FINANCE staff have been put through the paces to raise cash for charity.

Employees at Britannia in Derby Street, Leek took part in a Twist and Step Challenge last month to raise cash for the company's chosen charity of The Carers Trust.

Branch manager Debbie Nash said: "Between us we did 42.5 miles on the Twist and Step machine - the distance of the round trip between our Leek, Biddulph, Cheadle and Baddeley Green branches.

"It's been nice because everyone has got involved and the customers have been very supportive."
