A FEAST of entertainment is on offer at a picturesque venue this month.

Triplefest 2014 will be taking place at its regular venue of Heaton House Farm, Rushton Spencer, near Leek.

Taking place over three days, from August 23 until August 25, it will include a variety of activities for the whole family including comedy, music and a fun day.

On the Saturday there will be the Big Tent Event from 7.30pm, which is set to be a top quality variety show featuring professional entertainers from television and cruise circuits.

This event often features acts such as a comedian compare, speciality acts, and a top of the bill act.

The organisers never disclose the Big Tent Event acts, so audience members will be in for a surprise as acts in the past have included Syd Little, The Grumbleweeds and Stu Francis.

On the Sunday it will be Welly Fest from 4pm until 11pm.

Welly Fest has grown to become one of the area's largest Music and Beer Festival within the six years that it has been running.

The huge success is down to a mix of talented live music and each year the organisers put on a range of live music to entertain all ages, from Rock to Reggae, Irish to Indie, and Punk to Pop.

Finally, for the three-day installment of fund-raising fun at Heaton House Farm, there will be the Country Fayre on the Monday from 11am until 5pm.

A traditional family fun day which plays host to a range of fun activities, such as arena displays, car boots sales a clay shoot, numerous classic cars, tractors and steam engines, a dog show, digger handling, and not forgetting lots of animals for the little ones to pet.
