Thousands of people crowded to this year's Leek Show at Birchall playing fields in Leek on Saturday, July 26.

Despite the scorching heat the showground was packed.

Along with the usual shire horse, show jumping, dog show, horticultural, WI and livestock competitions, there were dozens of stalls and marquees selling various wares, along with some charity stalls.

The police were also there to make sure there was no trouble, supported by their latest addition to the police vehicle fleet - Trevor the tractor.

The entertainment as always was great for all the family, with show jumping Llamas and a motorcycle stunt team which made sure the event concluded with a bang - literally.
