THERE have been two thefts of equipment from a farm on the Macclesfield Road just outside Leek.

The thefts took place on August 28 from Poole End Farm, with around £2,000 of power tools taken at around 6.45am, including a green arc welder.

On September 5, around £3,000 of machinery was stolen, including a milk machine vacuum pump, thought to have been taken between 6.30am and 12 noon.

A suspicious vehicle was seen on the 28th, with a registration given to the police, which officers say is of interest to them.

Anyone having seen anything untoward on either day is asked to contact the Police on the non-emergency number 101.
