Fans of eighties music in the Staffordshire Moorlands had a real treat this month - with two separately organised sell-out events in one weekend.

Friday, April 4 saw the return of Anthemia at The Central Club in Market Street, Leek as DJs Nick Sheldon and Chrissie B took to the decks. Revellers enjoyed dancing to a variety of tunes from the eighties era at the sell-out event.

The following night, on Saturday, April 5, Anthony Grain, of Blitz Music Nights hosted an evening of eighties music at the Winking Man in Upperhulme, near Leek.

The sell-out event featured appearances by Electro 80s and Steve Strange.
