Charity and community organisations are being invited to get their cowboy hats and boots on to join in on a country and western event.
The weekend of June 21 and 22 will see Leek town centre and Brough Park taken back in time to be a western scene, complete with with gun fights.
The event is being organised by Leek Town Council's Events Committee in memory of former town mayor Steve Povey, who lost his battle with cancer in October 2011.
The event will not only include a number of shoot-out re-enactments but also line-dancing in Derby Street, and a large-scale Country and Western evening of music within a marquee in Brough Park on the Saturday evening. The organising committee is inviting charity and community events to help enhance the fun and activities of the weekend by hosting a stall.
Anyone interested can call Leek Town Clerk Julie Taylor on 01538 381271.
