TWO second half goals from Mike Keates for Ball Haye Green went without reply from Cheadle SMU to give his side a place against Newcastle Town in the Leek Cup final.

In the other semi-final Dave Harper opened for Newcastle at Uttoxeter Town in the first half. Ryan Metcalf equalised before the break but a second goal from Harper after the break put Newcastle through.

In the Premier Division, visitors Audley fought back from a goal to beat Cheadle Town 2-1, Craig Mason snatching their winner two minutes from time. Adam Cartledge had put Cheadle ahead in the 56th minute, but Mike Barnett equalised four minutes later.

Title contenders Wolstanton United scored nine times without reply at home to Keele University. Mark Grice scored four times, Tom Bisson bagged a hat-trick and Jamie Kempson and Dan Rouane added a goal apiece.

In Division One,

Dan Blades scored the only goal of the game in the second half from the penalty spot for league leaders Stapenhill at home to Betley.

In Division Two, Whittington scored six times without reply away to Cheadle Town reserves. Jack Jones, Sam Morgan, Steve Wilkins, Luke Roughly, Matt Banham and Dan Allsop shared the goalscoring honours.

Hilton Harriers opened at home to Leek CSOB in the first half through Johnny Boustred. Z Barker equalised before adding his second. Further goals came for Leek through Smith and J Atkinson.
