Staffordshire County Council election results announced overnight

Nineteen county divisional results for the local elections were announced last night.

NINETEEN county divisional results were announced last night.

So far, the Conservatives have nine seats, Labour nine and one Independent.

Results from the final two seats in South Staffordshire, Stafford, Newcastle, Staffordshire Moorlands, East Staffordshire and Lichfield will be announced throughout today.

Elected county councillors so far are as follows:

Cannock Chase Brereton and Ravenhill: Alan Dudson (Lab) 901 votes (38%)

Cannock Town Centre: Alison Spicer (Lab) 1,287 (40%)

Cannock Villages: Diane Todd (Lab) 1,097 (44%)

Chadmsoor: Derek Davis OBE (Lab) 1,504 (58%)

Etchinghill and Heath: Geoffrey Martin (Cons) 802 (32%)

Hednesford and Rawnsley (dual division): George Adamson (Lab) 2,074 (21%) and Christine Mitchell (Lab) 1,842 (19%)

South Staffordshire Note: Cheslyn Hay, Essington and Great Wyrley dual division which will be declared today Brewood: Mark Sutton (Cons) 1,706 (54%)

Codsall: Robert Marshall (Cons) 1,585 (55%)

Kinver: Brian Edwards (Cons) 1,619 (52%)

Penkridge: David Williams (Cons) 1,587 (56%)

Perton: Keith James (Cons) 1,008 (39%)

Wombourne: Mike Davies (Cons) 1,537 (55%)

Tamworth Amington: Sheree Peaple (Lab) 1,043 (38%)

Bolebridge: Carol Dean (Lab) 1,124 (41%)

Perrycrofts: Ben Adams (Cons) 1,032 (35%)

Stoneydelph: Chris Cooke (Ind) 734 (36%)

Watling North: Brian Jenkins (Lab) 1,122 (45%)

Watling South: Michael Greatorex (Cons) 1,414 (52%)
