Personalise your wedding stationary

Written byWacom

Wacom’s Bamboo range of pen tablets and styluses allow brides and grooms to create bespoke invites, RSVPs and table plans that are as unique and memorable as the wedding itself.

Personalisation is a huge trend for weddings in 2013 so Wacom has teamed up with wedding stationery designer Gemma Milly to show creative (and not so creative) brides and grooms how to make bespoke stationery for themselves. Gemma has put together a how-to-guide to show how easy it is to personalise wedding stationery.

Wedding invites

For more confident users, here are six handy tips for creating a handmade invite. To replicate the invite below users will need a Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch tablet (and accompanying free Photoshop Elements software package).

Personalised maps

Novice artists will enjoy creating hand drawn maps that can be incorporated into wedding invites. The App allows you to send the map via email or as a picture message to make sure it is always at hand.

As well as a steady hand and a map of the area, art enthusiasts will need a Wacom Bamboo stylus (and iOS or Android tablet) and have download the free Bamboo Paper App from the App Store or Google Play to replicate the map below.

Who is Wacom?

Wacom is the world’s leading manufacturer of pen tablets. Pen tablets are computer input devices that enable users to hand draw images, edit photos and navigate through various documents and files on a computer. Roughly A5 in size, Wacom’s pen tablets are flat and contain a pressure sensitive surface that users can draw, doodle and write on while their ‘creations’ are displayed on a computer monitor in real time.

Since the launch of tablet computers such as the Apple iPad, Kindle Fire HD and Google Nexus 7, Wacom has also introduced the Bamboo Stylus range to the market. These pen-shaped device offer increased functionality when navigating, sketching and writing on a tablet or phone. This is perfect for when fingers feel like blunt instruments and only a fine point will do.

Not only are Wacom’s products fun and easy to use, they provide users with a more intuitive and versatile computing experience that replicates pen and paper.

Latest products in the range include:
