Staff at a Leek supermarket have been learning how to communicate with customers and colleagues who are hard of hearing.

Sainsbury's Leek is working in partnership with Leek and Buxton College and the Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers to run a Sign Language workshop for staff.

The workshops came to fruition as staff wanted to support one of their colleagues on the clothing department.

Staff are now using their own time to attend the classes.
