Training sessions to offer expert advice

TOWN’S series of football coaching sessions for girls in school years two to six, run by community coach Steve Kell, has resumed.

Th coaching sessions are being run on Fridays at Leek High School, starting at 6pm. Each session lasts an hour.

Last Friday’s session was run by Vicky Jepson, manager of Liverpool FC’s Centre of Excellence under-18 women’s team and captain of Macclesfield Town’s ladies team .

The sessions are being supported by coaches and players from Leek Town’s U12 and U15 girls.

Any girls in years two to six are welcome to attend sessions, whether or not they have attended before and whether or not they wish to join a team.

Those who do wish to join a team playing for Leek Town Girls will have the opportunity to do so soon.
