FOUR former players have returned to Leek Cricket Club for the 2013 season.
They are Mick Coxon (Hanford), Chris Price (Oakamoor), Rory Corden (Moddershall) and Rory Jackson (Little Stoke) Keele Park’s Dan and Geoff Hall will be add further strength to the playing squad.
Leek first eleven begin their defence of the North Staffordshire and South Cheshire League Premier Division title away to Hem Heath on Saturday April 20.The team will prepare for the new season with a home friendly against Sandiacre Town CC on Sunday April 14.
Former Leicestershire, Kent and England wicketkeeper Paul Nixon will be the guest speaker at a fundraising dinner at Highfield on Friday May 17.
The evening will also include entertainment from a comedian, followed by an auction of sporting memorabilia.
