LEEK went out eager to gain another three points to set them steady in the table and scored three goals in the first 10 minutes.
Continuing to work hard, creating space, and moving in threes to get the ball down the pitch, Leek had scored another two by the half-time whistle. The Leek goal scorers were Hazel Mycock (3), Vicki Bradbury (1) and Emma Clowes (1).
In the second-half, even with strong tackling from Leek’s defence, Newark were able to slip past and claim a goal.
Leek were soon back on track, however, and scored another two goals from Charl Hurst and Vicki Bradbury.
