LEEK Cricket Club have completed the signing of former Leicestershire player Nadeem Malik.
Malik is a right arm medium fast bowler and middle order batsman. He started of his career at his home town county Notts and his first wicket in the County Championship was that of Graham Hick.
He represented England at under 19 level and played for them in the 2002 World Cup. He left Notts in 2004 for Worcestershire and after three years there joined Leicester in 2008, where he had three successful seasons.
A club spokesman said of Malik: “We are delighted to have secured his services for the 2013 season as he will add valuable experience to Greg Willotts’ talented young side.”
