A "FRUSTRATING" abandonment 45 minutes into their Boxing Day clash at West Didsbury and Chorlton at least gave manager Jamie Cullerton cause for optimism.
A water-logged pitch ended the game at half time with the score-line at 2-2. Cullerton said: "While it was frustrating not to finish the game there were allot positives to take from the 45 minutes. We played very well against a top four team and were unlucky not to be leading at half time - and it was good for the lads to get some minutes into their legs."
Old Boys's scheduled game at Rochdale last Saturday also fell foul of the recent wet weather. Leek CSOB travel to Chadderton tomorrow (Saturday, January 5).
