SIX-TIME world champion Steve Davis tops the bill over two nights at Leek Snooker Club next month.
Davis will take on eight local players over two nights on November 9 and November 10 with guest commentary from John Virgo. Top referee Michaela Tabb will also bring some glamour to the show.
In addition to the snooker exhibition both nights will feature trick shots from Davis and Virgo. The audience will also have the opportunity to quiz the star cueists in an open question and answer session.
Billy Plant, of An Evening With Stoke Promotions, said: "We have provided the people of Leek with the chance to meet arguably snookers greatest player in a very small and intimate venue.
"The show is our third snooker exhibition following on from our shows with 1985 world champion Dennis Taylor and six-time World Championships runner-up Jimmy White. Both shows were massive success which have really helped to establish the Snooker Club as a quality entertainment venue.
"One thing is for certain this show will be a high quality event with fun , laughter and high quality snooker. Even if people are not the biggest snooker fans in the world we would encourage them to buy a ticket and come along to the show. The show is about more than just snooker as people who came to our last shows found out." A limited number of tickets remain available and can be purchased through Leek Snooker Club, Town Crier Newsagents on Derby Street or Porters Quality Cleaners in the Smithfield Centre.
VIP tickets are priced £50 and include a Champagne reception and buffet plus an opportunity to meet the stars plus "the best seats in the house". Ultimate VIP tickets (£90) also give cueists the opportunity to test their skills against Davis over one frame. Standard tickets are priced £25.
