LEEK Town manager Lee Casswell is looking to ditch squad rotation.
The Blues boss said: "We need to give lads a run of games - but it's difficult when you have such strength in the squad. Last season the first 11 picked itself and we had players who were happy on the bench.
"But we have got to give lads games. Some of the players have had that but you can't expect someone to come off the bench and instantly hit the ground running. We have to get a bit of continuity."
One player who will not now form part of Casswell's blueprint for success is Christian Millar. The midfielder had pledged his immediate future to the Harrison Park club before pulling a U-turn late last week and opting to join Newcastle Town.
Millar, who joined up with fellow new recruit and Blues old boy Tom France, made an immediate impact at the Aspire Stadium. The midfielder scored on his debut in the 3-1 win over Gresley on Saturday.
In other Blues news Nantwich Town have served the official days notice of approach for club captain Ashley Woolliscroft who has failed to hold down a regular place in the starting line-up this season.
