"CALLS change games," bemoaned Leek Town boss Lee Casswell after two contentious decisions helped Newcastle clinch a 2-0 win at Harrison Park on Boxing Day.
Tim Grice was denied a "certain penalty" in the first half and the hosts were also left fuming after the referee failed to award Leek a free-kick immediately prior to Castle's opener. But it was his side's inability to work the opposition keeper which most frustrated Casswell.
The manager said: "We created six clear chances but without really working their keeper. The disappointing thing was the amount of play we had, the amount of ball we had, but we didn't really create a great deal."
