RSPB Coombes Valley nature reserve is becoming home to Halloween.
Visitors have the chance to join in the spooky celebrations with a special Halloween party and a magical adventure trail at the nature reserve, on Thursday, October 31.
Join Staff and volunteers as they get into the party spirit at the Spooktacular Halloween Party from 2pm – 6pm.There will be activities including pumpkin carving, toasting marshmallows, crafts and a spooky wildlife quiz.
Lauren Shannon, spokesman for the nature reserve near Leek said: “This is set to be a fun packed afternoon for all the family.
As dusk falls, we’ll be heading out for a ghostly woodland walk to discover what nocturnal creatures make their home on the reserve. Don’t forget to dress up as your favourite spooky character!” In the run up to Halloween, families will be able to have a go at a mystical selfguided trail through the reserve and find out which mischievous creatures inhabit the woodland. The trail will run every day from 10am to 4pm from October 26 to November 3.
The Halloween party is a bookable event, costing £6 per family for RSPB members and £10 per family for nonmembers.
The self-guided trail is £4 for children, half price for RSPB members, and accompanying adults go free.
