AN HISTORIC tourist spot was filled with the sound of music at the weekend.
Leek-based Cuckoo's Nest, pictured, visited Brindley's Mill in Mill Street, Leek, on Sunday to entertain visitors with an acoustic set of their music.
The 'Music at the Mill' event also saw people given the opportunity to take a look around the restored 18th century water powered corn mill. Built in 1752 by James Brindley, the mill was restored in 1974 and also houses a museum which illustrates the life and work of James Brindley.
The mill is open from Easter through to the end of September on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays between 2pm and 5pm.
