Following on from March's big foot-stomper, Leek's own not-for-profit music promoters The Situation are back at The Foxlowe Arts Centre this week.

Headlining on Friday (April 4) at the Market Place venue are the fantastic Italian powerpop/feelgood punk band of The Sensibles.

The band is made up of Stella on vocals, Giacomo on bass, Fili on Guitar, and Ga on drums and they will bring their bright and crazy paeans and musings on modern life.

Main support for Friday evening will come from Gravity Dave, back again and fighting fit, who are an original prog-punk-indie band from Leek. Incisive lyrics, artistic flare, rhythmic punch, with a tight back-beat and melody hooks - a new epic, catchy, relentless and unique sound.
