PUPILS who attended St Bartholomew's School in Longnor between 1940 and 1955 have been urged to come forward.
A reunion is being planned at the school for pupils who attended the educational establishment during these years on Saturday October 26 at 2pm onwards.
The school first opened in 1872, and the front of the building, the school hall, remains the same. Extensions were built behind the hall in the early 60's and a further addition in the late 90's.
One of the organisers Teresa Riley said: "We are calling for all former pupils who attended the school between 1940 and 1955, including husbands, wives and partners to get in touch.
"Also we are asking people to please get out their old pictures and bring them along as the memories will add to make the occasion enjoyable."
Light refreshments will be available during the afternoon.
If you are a former pupil of the school during these years and are interested in attending or would like further information, please contact Teresa on 01298 83495.
