NatWest and RBS are extending the services personal and business customers can use through the Post Office from later this year to include pay-ins of cash and cheques.

This means that in addition to being able to bank online, by mobile or by telephone, RBS and NatWest customers will have 22,500 locations across the UK where they can carry out their every day banking – including branches, ATMs and Post Offices.

There are now more ways to bank with NatWest and RBS than ever before, where and when it is convenient for our customers. Research shows that ninety per cent of the UK population is within one mile of a Post Office, while ninety-nine percent of the UK population is within three miles.

The Post Office currently handles £11.5 million transactions (withdrawals and balance enquiries) and c£50 million cash withdrawals for NatWest and RBS customers in local communities.
