This year's Baby and Toddler Competition by the Post & Times has begun.

The contest to find the bonniest youngsters started on Saturday, May 10, at the Leek Sainsbury's store.

The photo sessions, by photographer Andrea Powell, at Sainsbury's will continue until this Friday, May 16, and run from 9.30am until 4.30pm.

Andrea will then be based at the Post & Times office in The Smithfield Centre, Leek, from Monday, May 19, until Saturday, May 24, from 10am until 4.30pm.

There are four categories for this year's Baby and Toddler of the Year: 0-9 months; 10-18 months; 19-36 months; and three to five years.

The prizes include a £50 cheque for each of the category winners, and a £100 for the overall winner.

To enter, find the Baby and Toddler of the Year 2014 entry coupon in this week's Post & Times, May 14, or next week's, May 21, and visit either Sainsburys in Leek up until Friday or the Post & Times office all next week for a free photo shoot of your little treasure(s).

Professional portrait packages will be available for you to purchase at your appointment with Andrea.

Each baby and toddler entered into this year's competition will appear in a Baby and Toddler of the Year Supplement, which will be printed in the Post & Times on Wednesday, June 25.

Last year's winners were one-year-old James Tatton who won the 18 months to three-year-old category; and Elora-Mae Shatwell who won the baby category of the contest.
