PARTS of the Staffordshire Moorlands may see the first snow of the winter tonight and tomorrow morning.

The latest Met Office predictions anticipate colder, wintry weather although any snow is unlikely to settle beyond a light dusting in hilly areas.

West Midlands Region Weather Forecast

Today:

Tonight:

Showers continuing, turning wintry as the night progresses with accumulations of snow possible over the high ground. Clear spells developing in between allowing frost and ice to form in places. Minimum Temperature -2 °C.

Tuesday:

Cold, with sunny spells and scattered wintry showers. However, accumulations of snow mostly limited to the higher ground. Frost developing during the evening as showers and the wind ease. Maximum Temperature 7 °C.
